February 18, 2004 * Community and Cultural Affairs [to Jun 2007]Emergency Measures Organization has been advised by Environment Canada to expect heavy snowfall and blizzard conditions for Thursday, February 19, 2004, along with higher than normal tide levels. EMO PEI, therefore, advises that flooding should be expected in low lying areas starting late Thursday afternoon and continuing throughout Thursday evening. The general public should monitor conditions and weather reports from Environment Canada on a regular basis.
