A pleased and excited Boston area resident will be spending a week on her favourite Island this summer. Margaret Kline of Brockton, Massachusetts, is the winner of Prince Edward Island's 1995 Letter to the Editor Contest.

"We received some wonderful tributes to PEI," said Carol Horne of Tourism PEI. "Margaret Kline put considerable effort into her entry, having her excellent letter published more than once."

The winning letter, which describes a vacation to PEI as "refreshing and unforgettable," was published in both the Boston Globe and the Patriot Ledger.

The prize includes airfare from Canadian Airlines, seven nights accommodation at the Prince Edward Hotel, car rental, an evening at the Confederation Centre of the Arts, a traditional lobster supper and a tour of the beautiful North Shore beaches provided by Abegweit Tours.

"I had hoped to go back to the Island again this summer," says Margaret Kline, "and now I am pleased to be able to bring my daughter and really make the most of all that Prince Edward Island has to offer."
