June 14, 2002 * Agriculture and Forestry [to Oct 2003]Kenny MacLellan, Chair of the Prince Edward Island Marketing Council, announced that Willem DeBoer of Montague has been appointed to the Prince Edward Island Hog Commodity Marketing Board. An appointment was made necessary by the resignation of one of the elected board members. The regulations governing the Hog Board specify that when a vacancy occurs during a term of office of a Board member, Marketing Council shall appoint a registered producer to the Board.
