Various clinics relocate from within QEH to new ambulatory care centre

Health PEI advises the public that beginning Monday, September 17 at 7 a.m., patients should go to the new Dr. Joseph A. and Eileen McMillan Ambulatory Care Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital if they have a scheduled appointment with the following ambulatory care services:

• Adult Insulin Pump clinic

• Ambulatory Dietician

• Ears, Nose and Throat (ENT) clinic

• Enterostomal Therapy clinic

• Lithotripsy

• Minor Procedures clinic

• Orthopedic clinic

• Plastics clinic

• Respiratory Therapy clinic and

• Urology/ Vasectomy clinic

Patients are reminded to register at the Admitting Department upon arrival before proceeding to the appropriate clinic for their appointment. Volunteers and hospital staff will help patients find their way to new clinic and service locations within the new Centre. Patients will also receive directions when they register.

Additional ambulatory care services will continue to relocate from throughout the hospital to the new Dr. Joseph A. and Eileen McMillan Ambulatory Care Centre over the next few weeks in phases to minimize disruption to patients and staff. The public will be advised as services relocate to the new centre.
