Temporary Closure – Provincial Trails 13:
A trail closure is now in effect for Brookvale Nordic, Strathgartney and Bonshaw Provincial Park trail systems. The closure is necessary to preserve and protect the trail systems from erosion and use during the wet spring conditions.
The closure will be in effect for all user groups including hikers, cyclists, trail runners and dog walkers.
The public is asked to please respect the closure for the benefit of all users.
The trail conditions will be monitored on a daily basis and will reopen when conditions allow. The closure is expected to last approximately three weeks. An advisory will be issued when the trail system is reopened for use.
