Fifteen new buses were delivered in July. Nine were allocated to the Eastern School District, five to the Western School Board and one to the French Language School Board. An additional 21 buses will be delivered in early November and allocated to the school boards.

"In total, 36 new buses will be brought into the current system. These new buses begin the process of updating the school bus fleet. Providing a safe transportation system for Island children is a priority for my department and for the Government of Prince Edward Island," says Minister Gillan.
