Team Canada Atlantic Trade Mission Currently in Chicago

Two Chef Instructors from the Culinary Institute of Canada located in Charlottetown were part of preparations recently for the Taste of Atlantic Canada reception being held Monday October 3, 2005 in Chicago. The reception, which was part of the Team Canada Atlantic Tier 2 Trade Mission to Chicago, took place in the kitchen of the Intercontinental Chicago Hotel. They were preparing maple candy which was just one of the many delicacies from the Atlantic region being offered to the guests.

The Team Canada Atlantic Trade mission includes 30 Atlantic Canadian companies seeking to do business with companies in the Greater Chicago area. The delegation is in Chicago until October 6, 2005.
