Statement from Premier Robert Ghiz on the passing of Dr. David McKenna

It’s with sadness that we learned of the passing of former Member of the Legislative Assembly, Dr. David McKenna.

Dr. David McKenna served Prince Edward Island not only as a former Member of the Legislative Assembly but also as a well-known optometrist in Charlottetown. David contributed greatly to society through business and as an active member in many professional and community organizations.

On behalf of all Islanders, I want to pass along my sincere sympathies to Dr. McKenna’s family, friends and colleagues.
