Statement by Premier Robert Ghiz on Alberta Premier Alison Redford

On behalf of the Government of Prince Edward Island, I would like thank Premier Redford for the contributions she has made to Alberta and to Canada.

I have had the opportunity to work directly with Premier Redford over the past number of years and appreciated Alison’s contributions on discussions of national interest at the Premiers’ Table.

Prince Edward Island and Alberta share a number of values and we will continue to hold a long-standing positive working relationship into the future.

I wish Alison all the best in her future endeavours.
