February 14, 1997 * Agriculture and Forestry [to Oct 2003]Agriculture and Forestry Minister Eric Hammill announced today that the Department's Soil and Feed Lab is just one of three in Canada to be named to the National Forage Testing Association's honour roll. This is the highest level of certification awarded by the Association and is based on precision and accuracy of sample analysis. "The staff of the Soil and Feed Lab are to be commended for this significant achievement and for providing excellent laboratory services," said Mr. Hammill. "As a Department, we are committed to providing high quality advice and assistance to our clients." The National Forage Testing Association is one of several sample check programs in which the Soil and Feed Lab takes part. It consistently receives high ranking in each program.
