Public forest Council Recognizes Contribution of Young Island Artist

* Environment, Energy & Forestry [to Nov 2011]
Public Forest Council Chair, Dr. Ian MacQuarrie, presented a copy of the Council’s recently released Forest Policy report “Woodlands Hold our Island Together” to Mariah Hogan and her father, Terry. Ms. Hogan’s artwork was chosen by Council to grace the back cover of their report because they felt it captured the concerns and hopes expressed by so many Islanders during last winter’s hearings. Copies of the Council’s recommendations are available on-line at www.gov.pe.ca/go/PFCpolicyreport or from any Forestry office.
