The Province provided $4,725 to the Miscouche Firemen's Club for the installation of a wheel chair lift. The club is home to a variety of community groups and is a regular meeting place for fundraising and social gatherings.
Le Marche, a community farmers market in Abram's Village, has provided a new avenue for local merchants to sell their products and was very successful during the summer's operation. The Province provided $4,400 towards the completion of this project.
The Province also provided $3,400 to the Evangeline Recreation Commission. This funding helped supply new heaters for the ice hockey arena and wheelchair accessible washrooms within the facility. The arena is also home to the Acadian Festival as well as many community events during the summer months.
