Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission Gets "In The L.O.O.P."

The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission is excited to announce its newest program to assist the owners of liquor establishments in placing liquor orders and providing unsurpassed service to this customer.

It's a "Licensee On-line Ordering Program" (known as "The Loop") which offers many benefits – such as...

- convenience – placing liquor orders on their own time, anytime, 24-7

- access to viewing and searching a list of products

- ability to see products newly listed or those being de-listed at a savings

- checking product availability within their family of stores

- ordering alternate products

- seeing a running total of their order

- checking on order status

- access to reporting functions such as an order history

- ability to save orders as templates as an additional time-saver

- ability to order product directly from monthly Limited Time Offers

- seeing product "flags" advising of such information as product availability

- links to related sites offering product information

"The PEI Liquor Control Commission is one of two provincial liquor jurisdictions that offers all licensees an On-line Ordering Program," states the Honourable Jeffrey Lantz, Minister Responsible for the Liquor Control Commission. "This is a very progressive step."

Wayne MacDougall, the Chief Executive Officer of the Commission, stated this is a service the Commission's customers requested to which the Commission responded to in a positive manner.

The launch date for this program is Wednesday, June 11, and all licensees are encouraged to contact their local Liquor Store Manager for further information on how to get in "The Loop."
