Premier Reaffirms Government Policy

Premier Pat Binns, today, reassured residents of West Prince that his government is not considering closing or consolidating schools. The Premier was reacting to media reports where an area MLA was seeking input from residents.

"While I appreciate that MLAs need to engage constituents on important issues, the position of our government has been clear. Our government supports communities and the educational opportunities which are available within them. Our policy has not changed," said the Premier.
