Premier Names Mover And Seconder

Premier Pat Binns announced today the Mover and Seconder of the Speech from the Throne that will officially open the Third Session of the Sixty-First General Assembly of Prince Edward Island.

The speech will be moved by Philip Brown, Member of the Legislative Assembly for District 23, Cascumpec-Grand River.

It will be seconded by Wilfred Arsenault, Member of the Legislative Assembly for District 24, Evangeline-Miscouche.

His Honour, Lieutenant Governor J. Léonce Bernard, will deliver the Speech from the Throne, Thursday, November 15, at 3:00 pm.

The upcoming sitting represents a continuation of the Binns government's commitment to two sittings of the House annually.
