Polar Bear To Locate In Atlantic Technology Center

Polar Bear Corporate Education Solutions, a division of Cross Off Incorporated ( TSE:OFF ) announced today it is leasing space in Atlantic Technology Centre (ATC) in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

Polar Bear is Canada's largest Corporate IT training provider. It offers a range of management, technical and customized courses tailored to meet the clients specific needs.

The Honourable Mike Currie, Minister of Development and Technology, says training is an important aspect of ATC. "The Information Technology (IT) sector is always evolving, and it's challenging for those in the industry to stay on top of the latest technologies," said Minister Currie. Having Polar Bear locate in ATC means Islanders will have access to this particular instructor led IT training that was previously not accessible in the province."

Kim Jollimore, Regional Manager for Polar Bear's in Atlantic Canada, says the ATC allows them to expand their presence with a physical Training Lab and office space in Prince Edward Island. "The infrastructure and technical support within ATC makes it possible for us to locate here," said Ms. Jollimore.

Polar Bear offers vendor authorized training from several leading industry organizations including: Microsoft, SmartForce, Novell, Lotus, and Second City.

Scheduled to open in August, ATC will feature key infrastructure including state-of-the-art office space, specialized research labs, multimedia theatres, digital audio and picture editing suites, a business incubator and smart boardrooms.

ATC is designed to stimulate new partnerships among local post-secondary training institutions and local, national and international IT, Television and New Media companies seeking a competitive business environment to locate innovative applied research, new product and solution development, testing and pre-commercialization.
