September 9, 2005 The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission announced today that wholesalers have been authorized to decrease petroleum prices in their dealer and consumer schedules by 10.0 cents per litre (cpl) on gasoline, and by 5.0 cpl on diesel fuel, furnace and stove oil, effective 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2005. Pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will range from between 123.5 cents and 125.1 cents per litre.The Commission will continue to monitor product pricing data and will announce further price changes as and when necessary.Media Contact: Allison MacEwen
