Petroleum Pricing

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016:

• Gasoline prices will decrease by 2.5 cents per litre (cpl); and

• There will be no change in Furnace Oil, Stove Oil, Diesel or Propane prices at this time.

Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 98.6 cpl to 99.8 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil will continue to amount to 71.2 cpl plus tax.

Significant decreases in the wholesale price of gasoline products observed since the Commission’s last adjustment now allow for the unscheduled price decrease announced today

The Commission's next scheduled price adjustment will be on July 15, 2016.
