Petroleum Pricing

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m., Thursday, October 15, 2015:

• Gasoline prices will decrease by 1.0 cent per litre; and

• There will be no change in furnace oil, diesel or propane prices at this time.

Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 99.5 cpl to 100.7 cpl.

The maximum price for furnace oil will continue to amount to 79.9 cpl plus tax.

Recent reductions in the wholesale pricing of gasoline enables the price reduction in gasoline announced today.

The Commission's next scheduled price adjustment will be on November 1, 2015.
