The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2011:
• Furnace and stove oil prices will increase by 2.0 cpl;
• Diesel prices will increase by 3.0 cpl; and
• There will be no change in gasoline or propane prices at this time.
Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will continue to range from 108.6 cpl to 110.7 cpl. The maximum price for furnace oil will now amount to be 89.6 cpl.
Significant increases in the wholesale market prices of furnace oil and diesel since the Commission’s last adjustment necessitate the petroleum product price increases announced today.
The Commission's next scheduled price adjustment will be on February 1, 2011.
