June 28, 1996 The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission announced today that approval has been granted to Shell Canada Products Limited with respect to two applications filed recently--one based on crude oil costs for increases of 1.0 cent per litre on all product prices and the other for decreases of 2.1 cents per litre in the prices of all products sold under its dealer tank truck schedule, based on market conditions, should the crude costs adjustment application be approved. The result of these two approvals is that present posted consumer prices of all products will be increased by 1.0 cent per litre and present dealer prices of low sulphur diesel and all grades of gasoline will be reduced by 1.1 cents per litre. These revised prices become effective on 29 June 1996. For more information contact: H. Doris Pursey, (902) 892-3501. Media Contact:
