November 21, 2001 On November 22, there will be a photo opportunity with Students Against Drinking & Driving and the Liquor Control Commission. This photo opportunity is to launch the sale of the SADD Bookmark. SADD-PEI along with the PEI Liquor Control Commission has developed a bookmark that will be sold in Island Liquor Stores. The cost of the bookmarks will be $1.00 each. All proceeds from the sale of the bookmarks will go toward providing new material for our student members and teacher advisors and to allow our students to participate in SADD activities such as information seminars, safe/dry grads and many more activities directed to educating students about dangers of Drinking and Driving. Our SADD student members dedicate their time and efforts to make our Province a safe place. They want to get the word out there, but it's hard without the proper resources and fresh ideas. Let's provide them with what they need and fight the battle against drinking and driving together. Islanders can show their support by purchasing a bookmark in any one of PEI's Liquor Stores.
