The PEI Liquor Control Commission (PEILCC) generated $6,416 in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation during its 3rd annual Paper Hearts campaign. PEILCC customers were prompted to purchase paper hearts in support for the work of the foundation during this annual February event.
“Over $21,000 has been raised over the three years of this campaign,” noted Robert Henderson, minister responsible for the PEILCC. “Thank you to our staff and customers who are integral to the success of this initiative.”
“Every dollar raised will help Islanders to live longer fuller lives,” explained Charlotte Comrie, CEO, Heart and Stroke Foundation in PEI. “Relationships with our corporate partners and their customers are key to the fulfillment of our mission of preventing disease, saving lives and promoting recovery.”
