Out of 50 Golf Destinations in the World - Prince Edward Island Ranks 26th!

Prince Edward Island has been rated by Golf Digest magazine as 26th out of 50 of the best golf resort destinations the WORLD has to offer. The article in the most recent edition of Golf Digest announces which courses have been given the prestigious designation and Prince Edward Island was firmly planted in the middle of the pack.

The magazine used criteria such as: a good variety of terrific courses; a strong "golf ambience;" a great setting; other area attractions/amenities; a good variety of quality accommodation; good value; good service; easy travel, both to and from the destination and also within it.

Golf Digest decided to provide the ranking as part of their 50th anniversary to determine the best golf destinations in the world; the only other destination in Canada that was rated before Prince Edward Island was Whistler, BC. A pull-out section of the magazine lists each destination and the respective scoring and invites readers to take advantage of these great courses now to beat the crowds.
