Notice From the Provincial Fire Marshal

Please note that it is a violation of the Fire Prevention Act for any person to offer for sale, expose for sale, sell at retail, or keep any fireworks except under the authority of a permit issued by the Minister of Community and Cultural Affairs. The Fire Marshal or his agent may seize, take, remove or cause to be removed at the owner’s expense any fireworks offered or exposed for sale, stored or kept in contravention of Section 1 of the Fire Prevention Act regulations. Fireworks seized, taken or removed shall be disposed of.
