The P.E.I. Liquor Control Commission is pleased to announce that its newly renovated Souris Liquor Store will officially open its doors for business Monday, January 15, 2007, at 10 a.m.
“Souris and area residents will be proud of this state-of-the-art liquor store,” said Andy Mooney, MLA, Souris-Elmira.
“The Souris Liquor Store was worn and tired and required a major renovation in order to provide Souris area residents and the Commission’s employees with a new modern retail outlet,” stated Michael Currie, Minister Responsible for the Liquor Control Commission.
This renovation is part of the Commission’s strategic plan in renovating Commission’s liquor stores across the Province.
The Commission’s mandate is to manage the distribution of beveraged alcohol in a manner that meets the needs of the consumer and maximizes revenues in a socially responsible way.
The hours of operation at the Souris Liquor Store are daily 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Fridays.
