The award recognizes those who display characteristics of dedication and high achievement in their areas of work. The award also recognizes those who give positive contribution to the workplace and demonstrates a high level of skill in their chosen profession.
Dr. Tom Moore's son , Dr. Ian Moore, was in attendance to help present the award. Numerous staff, physicians, friends and family were also on hand to help celebrate Ms. MacFadyen's achievement. Award nominations are gathered from peers and co-workers and the candidate is selected by an award committee.
