The Canada Learning Bond offered through the Government of Canada provides another great way to save for your child’s post-secondary education, says Workforce and Advanced Learning Minister Richard Brown.
Minister Brown encourages all Islanders who may be eligible to take advantage of the financial offering. The Canada Learning Bond is available to children who were born after December 31, 2003 and whose families receive the National Child Benefit Supplement.
“Post-secondary education is a valuable investment, but it can be costly if not appropriately planned for. By planning early for your child’s education and using programs such as the Canada Learning Bond, post-secondary education can become much more affordable,” said Minister Brown.
