Minister Bertram Expresses Condolences on Death of Scott MacAulay

Statement by Hon. Carolyn Bertram, Minister of Communities, Cultural Affairs and Labour:

“I wish to express my deep sympathy to the family and friends of Scott Macaulay. Scott was an integral figure in the cultural community of Prince Edward Island, and throughout the world, as both a performer and a leader.

As the founding director of the College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts, and as a well loved and respected teacher, Scott has left the people of our province a legacy which will continue to enrich us all. We will miss his spirited performances, his vibrant personality and his commitment to all traditions of the Celtic arts.”
