Minimum wage will increase on July 1

The minimum wage on Prince Edward Island will increase July 1, 2015 to $10.50 an hour.

Announced back in December, this increase was made on the recommendation of the Employment Standards Board.

The current minimum wage is $10.35 per hour, which came into effect October 1, 2014.
