Milk Board Election Results

Randall Affleck, Lower Bedeque, Ian McIsaac, Mermaid, and Gary Hughes, Kelly's Cross have been declared elected to the PEI Milk Marketing Board.

Mr. Affleck will represent the Summerside District, Mr. McIsaac will represent the Charlottetown District, and Mr. Hughes will represent the cream sector on the Board.

As only one nomination was received for each position on the Board, a vote by producers was not required.

The Prince Edward Island Milk Marketing Board consists of nine members with eight members representing the milk sector and one member representing the cream sector. Members are elected on a staggered basis to three year terms so that in each year, three Board positions are up for election.
