The finals of the Prince Edward Island Matinee Track program will be held Monday, September 6 at Summerside Raceway as part of its Labor Day program.
Matinee horse owners have competed at events in Alberton, Tyne Valley, O’Leary, Kensington and Pinette, with the top eligible horses moving on to Monday’s finals. The Government of Prince Edward Island sponsors the program, which is now in it’s sixth year.
The horses who will be competing in Division A (to be held after race 4) are Annie’s Money, Jens Jewell, Step on Ashley, Island Talia, Dunville Shania, and Leahs Harry.
Division B (to be held after race 6) will be made up of Charles Rose, Gaspereaux Man, Nicky’s Libby, Maple Leaf Mystic, Phantom Mist and Butterscoth Belle.
Division C (to be held after race 8) features Belle, Peggy’s Delight, R B‘s Cash, Crapaud Girl, Doc River Jo, and SOS Santo Domingo.
Monday’s program begins at 1:30 p.m.
