September 8, 1999 The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission has suspended the lounge operation (No. LL84-0044) as well the liquor service in the dining-room (No. DL84-0044) of the licensed premises known as "Thirsty's Roadhouse" located in Cavendish, PEI, for a three (3) day period commencing 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 1999, through to and including 1:00 a.m. Sunday, September 12, 1999. The Liquor Control Commission is satisfied that violations of the Liquor Control Act Regulations took place under the following sections: Sections 70 (c) and 82 of the Liquor Control Act Regulations which read as follows: 70. (c) A Licensee shall not admit more persons in his licensed premise than the capacity established and posted by the Fire Marshal's Office. 82. A licensed premise shall comply with the Fire Prevention Act. This suspension does not affect the operation of Thirsty's Dining-room which may continue to observe its normal hours of operation, however, no liquor service will be available during this period.
