The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission has suspended the lounge operation known as “Boston Pizza,” license number LL60192, located at 700 University Avenue, Charlottetown, for the following period of time, that is:
for a six (6) consecutive day period - commencing 11 a.m., Thursday, October 7, 2010 up to and including 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2010.
The Liquor Control Commission is satisfied that violations of the Liquor Control Act Regulations took place under the following sections which read as follows:
Section 26.(b) Subject to the Act and orders of the Commission, a licensee may serve liquor in the licensed premises of a lounge on Sunday, between the hours of noon and midnight.
Section 71. Liquor, beer and wine shall be sold in licensed premises only at prices approved by the Commission.
Section 78. All licensed premises shall be vacated not later than one half-hour after the prescribed closing time.
This Suspension does not affect the operation of the dining-room at Boston Pizza which may continue to observe its normal hours of operation during this period.
