Lounge liquor license suspended for Black Rafter lounge

The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission has suspended the licensed premises known as “Black Rafter Lounge,” license number LL950021, located in Souris, for three (3) days commencing 11 a.m., Monday, January 3, 2011, up to and including 11 a.m., Thursday, January 6, 2011.

The Liquor Control Commission is satisfied that a violation of the Liquor Control Act Regulations took place under the following section:

Section 25

The licensee or person in charge of a lounge shall require evidence of the age of a person suspected to be under 19 years of age who is entering into or present on the premises of a lounge, in the manner prescribed by the Commission.

This Suspension does not affect the dining room liquor license of the Blue Finn Restaurant which may continue to observe its normal hours of operation during this period.
