The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission has suspended the lounge license of the “Eight Ball Sports Bar,” license number LL-40-151, located in Elmsdale, for the following period of time, that is:
for a seven (7) consecutive day period – commencing 11 a.m., Friday, February 2, 2007, and ending 11 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2007.
The Liquor Control Commission is satisfied that violations of the Liquor Control Act Regulations took place under the following sections which read as follows:
Section 70. (j)
A licensee shall not sell or supply any liquor on his licensed premises to or for any person who is apparently in an intoxicated condition.
Section 23. (c)
The holder of a lounge license shall render to the Commission at the end of each year, or such lesser period of time as the Commission may direct, a report in such form, as the Commission may require showing the separate retail values of liquor and food sold on the premises licensed as a dining room and lounge.
Section 74. (2)
The licensee shall report to the Commission the gross retail sales of food andliquor in each licensed premises for such period as the Commission may direct.
