January 10, 2008 The Honourable Barbara A. Hagerman, Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward island, has returned to her home, Fanningbank, after a twelve-day stay at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Her diagnosis of Crohn’s disease will be managed by a regimen of medications and diet and a full recovery is expected. Her Honour was touched by everyone’s well wishes and prayers during her illness and is especially thankful for the care of her doctors and the staff of Unit 2 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.Media Contact: Island Information Service
