July 8, 2005 Their Honours, Lieutenant Governor J. Léonce Bernard and Madame Florence Bernard, are hosting their annual garden party on the grounds of Government House on Thursday, July 14, 2005 from 2 to 4 p.m. This event has been a tradition for Lieutenant Governors and in the past was by invitation only. Governor Bernard opened the party to the general public and placed advertisements in the local newspapers in an effort to make everyone aware of the new format. Islanders and tourists alike are welcome to stop by and meet Their Honours and take a stroll in the beautiful flower gardens.
