License Suspended For Curl Summerside

The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission has suspended the club operation known as “Curl Summerside,” license number CL-98-0021, located in Summerside, for the following period of time, that is:

for a period of three (3) days for violation of Section 70.(a) of the Liquor Control Act Regulations and for a period of three (3) days for violation of Section 39.(2) of the Liquor Control Act said suspensions to be served concurrently for a total cumulative suspension of three (3) days commencing 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2009 up to and including 11 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2009.

The Liquor Control Commission is satisfied that violations of the Liquor Control Act and Regulations took place under the following sections:

Section 70. (a) of the Liquor Control Act Regulations

“A licensee shall not permit any liquor to be taken from or into his licensed premises otherwise than is permitted by the Act and these regulations.”

Section 39.(2) of the Liquor Control Act

“No person shall be in an intoxicated condition in a public place.”
