Legislative Session To Resume

Premier Pat Binns announced today that the current session of the Provincial Legislature will resume on Tuesday, March 30, 1999.

Premier Binns says the Assembly has some matters to deal with before the debate on the Speech from the Throne is completed and the way cleared for introduction of the budget. Once the budget is introduced the approval of departmental budgets will begin.

Several Legislative Committees will also be reporting on matters they have dealt with since the fall session.

A number of pieces of Legislation will be introduced.
