October 22, 2002 Premier's Office Premier Pat Binns announced today that he has requested the Speaker to open the Prince Edward Island Legislative Assembly on Thursday, November 14th. The Fourth Session of the 61st General Assembly will begin at 3 p.m. with the reading of the Speech from the Throne by the Honourable J. Léonce Bernard, Lieutenant Governor.
