Islanders invited to participate in Health PEI’s Annual General Meeting Thursday

Islanders are encouraged to attend Health PEI’s annual general meeting and participate in discussions about their health services, says Health PEI Board Chair Phyllis Horne.

“Islanders have an important role in shaping the future of health care on Prince Edward Island and influencing Health PEI’s priorities going forward,” says Ms. Horne. “Health PEI has been able to make many improvements in programs that better support the health of Islanders over the last five years because of their input. We want to continue to engage Islanders in meaningful conversations about our health care system; the annual general meeting is one such opportunity.”

Health PEI’s annual general meeting is planned for Thursday, October 29th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Credit Union Place in Summerside.

This year’s annual general meeting theme is Health Care on PEI – Past, Present and Future. Panelists will include Health PEI CEO Dr. Richard Wedge and members of the organization’s Executive Leadership Team.

Islanders can attend in person or watch from home and participate in the conversations live on the website at www.healthpei.ca/annualgeneralmeeting.

Members of the media are also invited to attend.
