Whether in person or on the web, Islanders who attend Health PEI’s annual general meeting can give their input and participate in quality discussions about health care on Prince Edward Island.
The meeting will be this Thursday, Oct. 6, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Rodd Royalty Inn and Suites in Charlottetown. Islanders not attending in person can watch from home via live stream on Health PEI’s website at www.healthpei.ca/annualmeeting.
“Our annual general meeting is a unique opportunity for Health PEI leadership to engage with Islanders in meaningful conversations about the future of health care within our province,” Health PEI Board Chair Phyllis Horne said. “We all have an important role to play in shaping the future of our health care system, which is why it is so important for us to hear directly from Islanders.”
Under the theme of Putting People First, the evening’s agenda will include presentations by the board chair, CEO, and chief operating officer. Islanders can also ask questions during an open panel discussion with CEO Dr. Michael Mayne and members of the organization’s senior management group.
