Fifteen Island students have been chosen to represent the province at The CRB Foundation National Heritage Fair in Saint John, New Brunswick from July 19-24, 1996.
Over 150 heritage projects prepared by Island students were showcased at the PEI Regional Heritage Fair last month in Slemon Park. In keeping with The CRB Foundation's Project criteria of quality and non-competitiveness, a random draw was held to select the representatives for the Fair. Each of the 15 projects will be represented by one student.
Students from all over Canada will be participating at the National Fair. It will be a unique opportunity for Island students to meet and share ideas with their peers from other parts of the country.
Although students will no doubt have fun at the National Fair, there will also be a strong focus on education, project exhibition and experiencing the culture of New Brunswick.
