The Honourable Barbara A. Hagerman, Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island, is pleased to announce that His Royal Highness The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex will undertake a Working Visit to Prince Edward Island on October 13 and14, 2007.
As part of a six-day visit to Canada that includes stops in Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia, on behalf of 13 community organizations, His Royal Highness will undertake a series of events on Prince Edward Island.
His Royal Highness is visiting Prince Edward Island at the invitation of The Prince Edward Island Regiment, of which He serves as Colonel-in-Chief.
While on the Island, His Royal Highness will participate in events with the Prince Edward Island Regiment, will receive an Honourary Doctorate from the University of Prince Edward Island, and will attend divine service at St. Peter’s Cathedral.
The Honourable Barbara A. Hagerman will host a private luncheon for His Royal Highness at Government House on Sunday, October 14.
Each host organization will provide further details of their events closer to the Visit.
