Charles Coles, Returning Officer for the Prince Edward Island Marketing Council, has reported that Ian Mutch of Mount Mellick has been elected by acclamation to represent Queens County on the Prince Edward Island Hog Commodity Marketing Board.
Under the Hog Commodity Marketing regulations, a board member whose term of office has expired but who has not served two full terms is considered re-elected in the event that no nominations are received. As a result, Mark Pridham of Huntley has been re-elected to represent Prince County on the Board.
Both elections are for a three-year term.
