His Royal Highness Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton to visit the Island

The announcement of the upcoming visit to Prince Edward Island by His Royal Highness Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton is welcome news, says Premier Robert Ghiz.

“It will be a great honour for Islanders to host the Royal couple during their stay in the province,” Premier Ghiz said.

“I am more than confident the Island's tradition of warm hospitality will be appreciated by the Royal couple, and I welcome their interest – both in Canada and our province.”

The national tour will take place from 30 June to 8 July 2011.
