Heather Moyse Homecoming Celebration

The Province of Prince Edward Island and the City of Summerside are pleased to invite all Islanders to the Heather Moyse Homecoming Celebration!

This Friday, March 5, Heather Moyse will be at Credit Union Place in Summerside to celebrate her victory with the hundreds of family, friends and hometown fans who supported and cheered on the Island’s sole Olympic ambassador.

To show pride and support for Heather and her gold medal achievement at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, Islanders are encouraged to wear Canada’s colors – red and white – to the homecoming celebration.

The doors will open at 5 p.m. and the official ceremony will commence at 6 p.m. Festivities will include local entertainment and refreshments, presentations from both the Province and the City of Summerside, and an opportunity for Islanders to show their support and offer their congratulations to Heather on her tremendous achievement.

All Islanders are invited to share in the celebrations.
