Health PEI is reminding Islanders to call ahead before going to their appointment

Due to the impending inclement weather conditions over the next 24 hours, Health PEI is reminding Islanders with appointments at hospitals, clinics and other health care services to please call ahead to reconfirm their appointment or to let staff know if they are unable to make the appointment.

Islanders are also reminded to call 8-1-1 for non-urgent health care advice or 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency.

Health PEI will continue to update the public should there be further changes.
