February 7, 1997 * Agriculture and Forestry [to Oct 2003]The Prince Edward Island Marketing Council today announced elections to the hog and egg commodity marketing boards. Robert Morrison, Returning Officer for the Marketing Council, announced that Peter Vriends, Covehead, and William Hicken, Montague, have been elected by acclamation to the Egg Commodity Marketing Board. Their two-year terms of office begin on April 1, 1997. He also announced that Dale Murray, Cape Traverse, has been elected by acclamation for Prince County to the Hog Commodity Marketing Board.
